This is going to be a great year. We love the 3 R's: Respect, Responsibility and Effort. We will be working as a team this year to reach our highest goals. We're glad to have you as part of our team.

*March 4, Thursday--Medieval Feast
*March 16-19, Tuesday - Friday--Early Out For SEP's
*March 16, Tuesday--Openhouse SEP's from 3:00-5:00 p.m.
*March 17, Wednesday--Openhouse SEP's from 2:00-4:00 p.m.
*March 19, Friday--Term 3 Ends, ALL WORK IS DUE
*March 24, Wednesday--Field Trip to Clark Planetarium. We will leave at 8:40 a.m and return by 2:00 p.m. All students need a sack lunch
We will have an Openhouse SEP this time. The two options are Tuesday, March 16 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. or Wednesday, March 17 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. You can come anytime during those blocks of time and plan on spending about 15-20 minutes. Come and look at your student's great work this year, get their reports and set goals for the last term. If you would prefer to meet with me privately, I am very happy to do that. Just contact me at school by phone or email and we can set up a time to do that. I have times Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday to meet with you :-) I look forward to seeing everyone!

Karen is a wonderful person. Her favorite colors are red and black. She went to Arches National Park and loved it. A hike to Grand Arch was the highlight for her. She loves dogs and has two of them. Karen says "yes" to spaghetti and waffles, "maybe" to hamburgers, and "NO" to sushi and steak. You can find her reading the Twighlight series or playing with her dogs during her free time. She enjoys playing handball and used to play it when she lived in California. If you see a spider, don't bring it to Karen; she will freak out! Karen is very intelligent and a great part of our class. |

Fielding is a cool person. His favorite car is a Lamborghini Gallardo (blue). His favorite movie was X-Men Wolverine, but now it is The Blind Side. His favorite animal is the jaguar, because he's a wild and crazy guy. He enjoys eating Chinese food, especially fried rice (but plain rice does not please him!) He doesn't watch T.V. that much, but he did enjoy Wizards of Waverly Place. He has a cat named Cumi that is fat and lazy. You can find him at Burger Supreme stuffing down a big Supreme Burger and fries--hold the fry sauce! If we had to choose between a million dollars and Fielding, we'd choose Fielding for sure!!!! (o.k. maybe not, but we'd buy him a Lamborghini with the million dollars :-) |

We have a great birthday tradition. It lasts about 10 minutes. Unless we make other arrangements it will be at 8:35 the day of your child's birthday. Parents are invited to come and be prepared to share stories about your child. Treats are welcome, but certainly not required :-)
