FARM FIELDTRIP  (check out our photos at the end of this PAGE.)

We had a wonderful time on our fieldtrip to the farm!

The weather cooperated and we visited all 14 stations that the farmers prepared for us.  It was fantastic!  We came back and made our own homemade ice cream!  Your child has the recipe in their homework folder to share with you at home. :)

WE ARE IN NEED OF HAND WIPES.  (thank you)

Blue Bird Eggs

By Aislynn

When I was six I found small blue bird eggs.  They were smooth. They were blue eggs with dark spots.

I put them in a bag on the washer.  A day later they were gone.

I am eight now.  I am sad.  They are blue birds now eating worms, seeds, and bugs.  I like birds.

Quacker

By Jack

Once there was a yellow duck that could not swim.

His friend, Frank, could not help Quacker.  He kept drowning in the salty water.

His brother Dan said don’t try it.  His sister Sam said sink away.  His parents were worried he would drown.  But he really wanted to swim.  He looked at the other ducks. His friend, Frank tried to cheer Quacker up, but that did not work.

One day he dreamed that he could swim.  The next day he could swim.
